Adding curriculum items to Canvas module

You can add Learning.com items directly into a Canvas module. This method does not support passing grades back into Canvas. If you need grade support, see the section on adding assignments.

1. Navigate to the Canvas module where you want to add a Learning.com item
   
   

2. Click the plus icon at the module level where you want your item to appear
   
   

3. Choose External Tool from the drop down, then find and click the Learning.com tool in your list:

   

   
   
   

    

4. Your Learning.com Library will open. Navigate through the tiles or use the search function to locate the item you want to link:

   

    

5. When you find the item you want, click on the Assign button:

   

   
   
   

6. You will be returned to the Canvas dialog with the page URL and name filled in for you. Adjust the load in a new tab and indentation settings to your liking, then click the Add Item button:

   

    

7. A new item will be added to your module and this will launch the Learning.com content. Don’t forget to publish your new items when you are done building your module:
