Once students have started an EasyTech Lesson, they can adjust their settings to turn on either English or Spanish subtitles (regardless of the audio language) and adjust the playback speed for slower audio to assist with comprehension.

Options for Signing In
View our article on Passports for login here!
Accommodations can be made for students when they sign in to login.learning.com so that they don’t have to type their usernames and passwords. Instead, if a webcam is available, students can use Passports.
The Passport is a printed document that contains an individualized quick response (QR) code that each student scans in front of the computer’s webcam to log in to Learning.com—no typing necessary!

Adjustable Settings for an Individualized Learning Experience
EasyTech Lessons
The gear icon within EasyTech Lessons allows students to add English or Spanish closed captioning and adjust the playback speed of the audio. Pairing audio with written text helps reinforce concepts for some users better than either audio or text alone.
Application Exercises
The ‘Settings’ button at the top of the AE allows students to adjust their settings to best suit their needs.
Students can change thecolor schemefor contrast:
Adjust font size for clarity:
And zoom in and out depending on their need:
Compatible with Screen Readers
While we encourage users to use the screen reader that best suits their needs, we recommend NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access). NVDA is a free screen reader device that reads the text on the screen with a computer-generated voice. Learn more about NVDA atwww.nvaccess.org.
Printable
Students can also utilize the ‘Print’ feature to work on the assignment offline and the ‘Save’ feature to continue working on the assignment at a later time.

Students Can Go at Their Own Pace
Revisiting a Slide
If a student needs to spend extra time on a particular concept or wants to revisit a slide in a Lesson, the student can choose to go back to a previous slide by clicking the back arrow.
Bookmarking
Our bookmarking feature allows students to take their time on Lessons and ensure they truly understand the concepts. If a student exits a Lesson before completing the curriculum item, the Lesson will ‘bookmark’ on the slide the student last completed; the next time the student opens that Lesson, s/he can choose to ‘Continue’ on the last slide worked on or to restart the Lesson. If the student chooses to restart, the existing bookmark will be erased.
Retaking Assignments
Students can retake Lessons, Guided Practices, and AEs as many times as they want or need to.

Adaptive Keyboarding
In addition to using bold colors against a white background and having a clean, consistent layout that will help students easily navigate their Adaptive Keyboarding dashboard, there are also a series of settings that can be adjusted to best suit student needs.
Student Settings
Within the ‘Settings’ tab at the top of students’ Adaptive Keyboarding dashboard, students have the opportunity to change their settings to best suit their needs.
The above settings have been pre-set within student accounts but can be adjusted by students at any point once they log in to their Adaptive Keyboarding program.
These settings include:
Turning sound effects on and off:
Adjusting the size of the font in the text display:
Choosing to make the keyboard color-coded to highlight finger zones or grayscale to avoid distraction and over-stimulation:
Removing the hand displays that hover over the keyboard and show proper hand positioning.
Please note that if the hand display is turned off, the next keystroke will still be highlighted on the keyboard if the color-coded feature is turned on; if the keyboard is set to grayscale, the next keystroke will not be highlighted on the keyboard:
Teacher Settings
If a class or a particular student is struggling to finish the Adaptive Keyboarding Formative Assessment in one sitting, the teacher can set the ‘Assessment Time Limit’ within the Adaptive Keyboarding Teacher Dashboard. Setting this time limit will allow the student or class to complete as much of the Formative Assessment as they can within the allotted amount of time.

Digital Literacy Assessment (DLA)
Compatible with Screen Readers
The DLA student interface is compatible with screen readers, which allows vision-impaired students to navigate the assessment, answer questions, and move between questions. While we encourage users to use the screen reader that best suits their needs, we recommend NVDA. NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) is a free screen reader device that reads the text on the screen with a computer-generated voice. Learn more about NVDA atwww.nvaccess.org.
Adjustable Settings
The DLA exam has adjustable visual settings that students can change to their liking once they’ve opened the exam. Students can find these within the ‘Settings’ button in the lower left-hand corner of their screen:
