E-rate

EasyTech Online Safety CIPA Requirements

How EasyTech Meets 2010 CIPA Requirements

EasyTech Online Safety exceeds E-rate requirements and covers required Children’s Internet Protection Act or CIPA topics on:

a.1      Appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking websites and in chat rooms

a.2      Cyberbullying awareness and response

To satisfy CIPA requirements, teachers must provide instruction for students covering the two topics above. It is up to each district what, how, and when they implement the CIPA topics. Additional topics are not required but reinforce and expand students’ knowledge of online safety.
