TCEA TA-TEKS Assessment

Thank you for your interest and participation in the 8th Grade Assessment project. This digital literacy assessment project provides Texas school district with the data needed to understand how well 8th grade students grasp critical 21st century skills, aligned to the TA-TEKS.

Districts and schools that participate in the project will receive 8th grade data for student digital literacy skills and access via district, school, class and individual student reports, along with comparison data from statewide results to support improved student technology learning and help educators plan how to integrate technology more effectively into curricula and instruction.

Important dates for the 2017-18 project:

  • Registration opens November 1, 2017, and closes March 9, 2018
  • Statewide Assessment Window: January 7, 2018 – June 15, 2018
