Here are some frequently asked questions about using the Learning.com App for tablet devices. If you have additional questions or need support, please contact us at support@learning.com.

How much does the Learning.com App cost?

The Learning.com App is free. However, to login and access content users need a valid Learning.com username, password, and district.

How can the app be accessed?

The app can be downloaded and installed from the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Amazon App Store.

What can a student access through the app?

The app provides each student with access to all classes, assignments, over EasyTech Lessons, Games, and Quizzes, all Inquiry curriculum items, and Learning.com technology assessments (21st Century Skills Assessment, TechLiteracy Assessment, WayFind Teacher Assessment, and TCEA Assessment).

Which touch-screen tablet devices will support the app?

  • iPad and iPad Mini running iOS 5+
  • Android tablets running Android 4+
  • Kindle Fire tablets running Android 4+

Note: Tablet devices must have at least 1024x768 pixels screen resolution

Are there any Learning.com curriculum items that are not available on the app?

The first version of the app does not support the following items:

 

  • EasyTech Journals
  • Discussions, and Activities
  • Aha!Math and Aha!Science curriculum items
  • Technology Assessment Projects

Can teachers use the app?

The app is currently available for student accounts only.

May a user be simultaneously logged into the app and the platform (via web browser on a different device) at the same time?

Yes, however, if this user launches the same lesson at the same time on two devices, it could potentially impact their score for that particular curriculum item.

Can students bookmark their place in a lesson in the app?

Bookmarking a student’s progress within a lesson is not currently part of the app. We expect to add this functionality very soon.
