Reflections reinforce the student goals in the project and give students the option to write a self-assessment. Rubrics, goals, and reflections are connected and give teachers a simple way to assess student work and communicate expectations to students. Reflection grades are separate from project grades and use a complete or incomplete scoring system.
- All grading components (teacher rubric, student goals, and reflections) are connected. Each category of the grading scale is described in the teacher rubric using instructional language. The same categories are repeated with grade-appropriate language in the student goals of the Projects and the Reflections.
- We recommend pointing out the goals tab when starting the project and describing the connection between the project goals and the reflection to your students.
- Reflections with Spanish audio support can be assigned separately
