Guide to Teacher Reports

There are a variety of reports that monitor class and student performance on assignments and progress through the year. All reports can be exported (into multiple formats, like PDF and spreadsheet) and printed by clicking the Save icon.

To access the reports menu:

  • Navigate to a class gradebook
  • Click on the small tab that looks like a pie chart under the name of the class
  • Click on the name of the report

Gradebook Report

Uses: a print version of the gradebook, perfect for sharing the gradebook with others

To view the report:

  • Select a date range for scores
  • (Optional) "Include scores from all classes" check box will provide one report for all of your current classes
  • Click "Generate Report"

Student Detail Report

Uses: see how a single student is doing on class assignments, great for portfolios and parent-teacher conferences

To view the report:

  • Select the name of a student or students from the menu or click "Check all" to see whole class in one report
  • (Optional) Checking "Include scores from all classes" provides scores from all classes that student is enrolled
  • Select a date range
  • Click "Generate Report"

Curriculum Item Report

Uses: see class performance, or compare student scores, on one particular assignment

To view the report:

  • Select a curriculum item from the dropdown menu
  • Select a date range
  • (Optional) Checking "Include scores from all classes" provides scores for all classes where the curriculum item is assigned
  • Click "Generate Report"

Standards Alignment Report

Uses: need a summary of all standards covered by the assignments in a class

To view the report:

  • Select a grade level
  • Select the national or state standard from the "Select a Standard" scroll menu
  • Click "Generate Report"

Class Standards Progress Report

Uses: demonstrate that the class assignments have covered a concept or standard

To view the report:

  • Select a date range
  • Select scores for "Thresholds for Minimum Score for Inclusion" and "Standards Coverage Threshold"
  • Select a parent-level national or state standard
  • Click to select the subject area, grade, and specific objective(s)
  • (Optional) "Show Detail Section" checkbox gives additional analysis by curriculum item
  • Click "Generate Report"

Individual Standards Progress Report

Uses: document student development and mastery of concept or standard, great for portfolios and parent-teacher conferences

To view the report:

  • Select a student name from the dropdown menu
  • Select a date range
  • Select scores for "Thresholds for Minimum Score for Inclusion" and "Standards Coverage Threshold"
  • Select a parent-level national or state standard
  • Click to select the subject area, grade, and specific objective(s)
  • (Optional) "Show Detail Section" checkbox gives additional analysis by curriculum item
  • Click "Generate Report"

E-Rate Online Safety Objectives Report

Uses: determine if class assignments cover E-Rate requirements and if students have successfully completed all related items

To view the report:

  • Select a date range
  • Click "Generate Report"

Progress Monitoring Report

Aha!Math Assessments Only

Uses: chart class, group, or student development on math concepts over a semester or school year

To view the report:

  • Select a date range
  • Select score type
  • Select a parent-level national or state standard (Notes: options will be based on standards assessed)
  • Select the subject area, grade, and specific objective(s)
  • Click "OK"

Prescriptive Keyboarding Report

When Prescriptive Keyboarding is Assigned

Uses: document progress of keyboarding skills, by measuring WPM, overall accuracy, time and accuracy by key

To view the report:

  • Select the name of a student or students from the dropdown menu or click "Check all" to see whole class in one report
  • Select a date range from the dropdown menu
  • (Optional) "Include scores from all classes" check box provides scores for all classes where Prescriptive Keyboarding is assigned
  • Click "Generate Report"
