Digital Citizenship App - Coordinator

This Digital Citizenship App provides districts with an interactive way to teach and assess online safety on mobile devices and to support Bring Your Own Device initiatives. From the app, students complete online safety lessons, take a quiz on the material, and register their completion with the district.

Coordinators Give School Access Codes to Teachers

  • Navigate to Coordinator Home Page
  • Click "Access Codes" under License/Product Tools
  • Access Codes can be printed or downloaded to aid in distribution

Students Enter Access Code and Create Their Profile

  • Students download and launch the app
  • Students enter the school-provided access code, create their profile or enter as Guest
  • We recommend students create their profile so they can use the App on multiple devices, and so school-provided devices can be shared

Students Complete Lessons and Final Quiz

  • Students complete all lessons, and pass the quiz with a minimum 80% score
  • After each lesson is completed and the quiz is passed, students who logged in as Guest will need to register their completion by creating a student profile

Coordinators Run Digital Citizenship App Report

  • Navigate to Coordinator Home Page
  • Click "Digital Citizenship App" under Curriculum Tools
  • Change the date range for the report, if desired
  • Click "Get Report"

Implementation Notes

  • Each school in the district has a personalized access code. All students at the school will enter the same code into the App to complete the lessons, create their profile to log in, or choose Guest. Students who create a profile can long into multiple devices, and the App will save previously completed lessons and quiz scores.
  • Digital Citizenship App Report shows a summary description of the completed instruction, student school, student name, student id, and completion time.
